Hi June, welcome to the wonderful world of blogging! so pleased to see you here! Good luck with your new blog. LOVE this cushion, it's perfect for my daughter Molly!! Hugs, Charlotte xx
I made this cushion following a request..... stitched it all by hand enjoyed every minute and then found out it was for Polly. so its a Molly keepsake now.
Not been able to put much on here lately, not sure how i found time to work. Had a busy week last week between meetings and visiting friends and doctors, spent very little time in craft heaven, I love it!! I have so many fabrics now and trimmings that I can pick a project and have everything to hand. My girls and I were going to try out the craft fair at Croxteth Hall but we paid a visit and it didn't look that good. Where are the real Craft Fairs? looking at the south of England there are lots of them. In the North they are rare or I am missing them!! Please let me know if there are any out there. Had a lovely weekend making things with Clare, a pinny for daisy and eddy, and a wall hanging/hight chart for Flynn and Harris, which I will take with me tomorrow when I visit them. will post pictures soon promise xx
Welcome to sunnyside. My name is June and I live in a large victorian house with my lovely husband John we have been married for 34 years we have 4 daughters Libby 21, Jennifer 23, Jayne 29 and Clare 31, we also have a grandson olliver who is 7 and another grandchild expected in April. We are very lucky to have my mum Janet living with us. so life is quiet busy. I have always made things and trained as a dressmaker in a very old establishment in Liverpool bit like 'grace brothers'. I eventually raised my children while running my own dressmaking business. 12 years ago my working life took a different path and I have worked proactively to develop better ways for services to engage with families of disabled children, I have recently been made redundant from my job but will stay involved with the families I have met along the way.
So I have time now to totally indulge myself in crafting I've got so many interests though!!
