Just thought I would explain this picture. I made this throw out of Laura Ashley's throw away samples, my friend got them for me. I kept them for over a year and as they took up so much room i was going to throw them away - not sure what happened but the next thing I found myself at 7am in the morning cutting and stiching the peices together. Not really done much in the way of quilting up to now but this has got me going.
Welcome to sunnyside. My name is June and I live in a large victorian house with my lovely husband John we have been married for 34 years we have 4 daughters Libby 21, Jennifer 23, Jayne 29 and Clare 31, we also have a grandson olliver who is 7 and another grandchild expected in April. We are very lucky to have my mum Janet living with us. so life is quiet busy. I have always made things and trained as a dressmaker in a very old establishment in Liverpool bit like 'grace brothers'. I eventually raised my children while running my own dressmaking business. 12 years ago my working life took a different path and I have worked proactively to develop better ways for services to engage with families of disabled children, I have recently been made redundant from my job but will stay involved with the families I have met along the way.
So I have time now to totally indulge myself in crafting I've got so many interests though!!
